Bear's Den is a large suite (the largest in the house) with original log walls on the main level. The high ceilings and expansive window walls create a very breezy open space to spread out.
A queen-size bed is lavished in brand new bedding, custom made with fabric sourced from around the world. The gas stove warms this room in the winter while the two window walls and ceiling fan cool it during the summer.
Two vintage rocking chairs make up the quint seating area with a separate reading chair and dresser in the corner.
An attached bath with shower stall is cozy, a small sacrifice for all the living space.
The Bear’s Den has an open, spacious, log cabin feel. It faces the lake and has a queen-size bed. There is a cozy sitting area. This room features a gas stove and private in-room bath.
Here, there really is no time! Thanks for maintaining this distinctive atmosphere in the heart of the Northwoods. The Lodge, the craftsmanship, the “feel” are in good hands.

We loved our 10 mile bike ride on the cruisers, our canoe trip to the wrong island, great swim, great golf at Big Fish & our amazing time at Timber Bay with Dan and Dawn. Can you say STRONG MARGARITAS?!?!
We look forward to returning in the winter when the Lodge is blanketed in snow and the crackling fire & good time awaits! Thank you! You are very special people.
